The UAF College of Liberal Arts Department of Music present the UAF Jazz Combo and UAF Wind Ensemble in concert in the Davis Concert Hall on the UAF campus Friday, November 13, 2024. Pictured is the Wind Ensemble.
The UAF Wind Symphony has a long tradition of performance on campus. Students performing in the Wind Symphony will experience a wide variety of band literature designed to explore many genres and styles of music from classic wind band literature to more contemporary compositions. The group performs a concert each semester in the C.W. Davis Concert Hall and participates in the Spring Commencement Ceremony.

All UAF students who have an interest in keeping music a part of their University experience, not just Music Majors, are encouraged to register for the Wind Symphony. Want to get involved? Sign up for MUS F205: Wind Ensemble. Admission is by audition.
