The IPEDS (Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System) Glossary provides a list
of common terms used in Institutional Reporting, and will help you interpret and understand
the data PAIR reports on.

Data Extraction Schedule
PAIR regularly extracts data from our databases for various projects. To ensure data
integrity, some information (such as awarded degrees) are extracted during periods
when existing records in the databases are not continually updated. These periods
are called Data Freezes. The schedule for when data is extracted during Data Freezes
is found in the Data Extraction Schedule.

If you need access to data that is not published on this page, please submit an information
request form. Note that confidentiality laws and regulations apply to much of the
