LTC Scott Shaffer

Lieutenant Colonel Scott Shaffer graduated from high school in Dutton, Montana and attended the University of Montana in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry. Upon completion of his degree he was commissioned as a branch detailed Signal Officer with an initial branch of Infantry.
At Fort Benning he attended the Officer Basic Course, Infantry Officer Basic Course, Mortar Leaders Course, Stryker Leader Course and Airborne School and was assigned to 2-23 Stryker Battalion in Fort Lewis, Washington as a Stryker Platoon Leader. He trained and deployed with his platoon in support of security operations to Camp Taji, Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. As the unit poised for redeployment, he transitioned to the Battalion S6 position ahead of his branch transition into the Signal Corps. After a successful redeployment back to Fort Lewis, WA he completed his transition to the Signal Corp by attending the Signal Captain鈥檚 Career Course at Fort Eisenhower with a follow on assignment to Fort Wainwright AK.
At Fort Wainwright he was assigned to 1-5 Infantry in Fort Wainwright, AK as the Battalion S6. He completed his Master of Arts in Information Technology Management while serving as an Artic Warrior and was selected to lead the 507th Signal Company. After his initial Command he was selected for a second Command, this time as a as a Recruiting Commander for the Missoula Recruiting Company out of Missoula, Montana and was selected for Resident ILE.
LTC Shaffer graduated ILE and was assigned to Fort Irwin, CA as the 11th Armoured Cavalry Regiment Brigade G6. This position provided an opportunity for LTC Shaffer鈥檚 team to act as the OPFOR G6 for over 20 training rotations while providing Signal support to the BDE.
After his time at the NTC he moved across the ocean to assume the role as USARMY NATO BDE G6 providing signal support for Soldiers across 26 Countries and led to his unique position as an Military Exchange Officer working in the British Army Headquarters.
LTC Shaffer is married to Nicole whom he met in the ROTC program as a Cadet and together they have three boys, Ethan (17), Brayden (15) and Jacob (14). His current awards include Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Army Superior Unit Award, National Defence Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, German Proficiency Badge and the Army Parachutist Badge.

Mr. Jarmon is a graduate of the U.S. Army's Officer Candidate School (OCS). He has served with distinction as both an infantry enlisted soldier and as an infantry officer. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from the 花椒直播 and is a graduate of the Infantry Officer Basic Course, Infantry Officer Advanced Course, Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle Commander's Course, U.S. Army Jumpmaster Course, Pathfinder Course, Airborne School and the III Corps Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Defense Course. He has held various positions of responsibility throughout his military service including: Indirect Fire Infantryman, Team Leader, Section Leader, Bradley Infantry Platoon Leader, Anti-Armor Platoon Leader, Infantry Company Commander and Special Military Advisor to Allied Forces.
