Free Store

Take what you need, leave what you don't! Started by students in 2014, this space serves as a central. organized, location for the community to drop off unwanted items or pick up something they need - for FREE! Our goal is to reduce waste, save usable items from the landfill, and get items to those that need them. 

 

The FreeStore is located in Wood Center 007 and it open during Wood Center hours of operation

Accepted Items:

Clean clothing with minimal or no damage
Winter gear
Shoes
Kitchen items
School and office supplies
Books (including textbooks!)
Sports equipment
Games
Bedding
Decor
DVDs and CDs
Toys
Children's clothing
Baby gear
Small household items

 

Unacceptable Items:

Damaged or dirty clothing
Single shoes
Furniture - we don't have the space
Food
Toiletries (like shampoo or makeup) Weapons
Large electronics
Internal medical devices (like contacts and menstrual cups)
Medications
Paint in containers larger than a quart
Chemicals
Broken electronics and appliances


Unexpired food, paper products and toiletries can be donated to the Wood Center Food Pantry.
